Chapter 1: Three Minutes Missing
The man bleeding beside your car is wearing your brother's hospital badge. Mateo is supposed to be home. You press your scrub jacket against the wound; beneath your fingers, the stranger pushes a memory card into your palm. Don't give it to the police. Check three-oh-seven. A black car stops. Luca Moretti steps out, the man whose life you saved last winter. His broken watch reads 3:07. Above him, the garage camera pivots toward you. Your phone lights up: Detective Marsh. In her message, Mateo sits in an interview room. Luca opens the passenger door but waits for your answer. You choose where we go. We have thirty seconds.
What happens next? Ask Luca to take you to Mateo · Answer Marsh while hiding the memory card · Stay with the patient and call your charge nurse
Chapter 2: Blackout at Three-O-Seven
You climb into Luca's car, the familiar tight grip of urgency in your chest. He starts the engine without a word, tires skimming wet asphalt as you speed through shadowed streets toward the hospital. "Mateo's in an interview room," Luca finally says, glancing at the rearview mirror. "But there’s something else. The security footage from the emergency wing — it drops completely between 3:05 and 3:10. Someone’s erased it. That’s our missing link." The memory spikes through your mind: Luca's watch stopped at 3:07, the dying man’s cryptic warning. This blackout could prove the shooting was staged. But the hospital’s restricted access means getting that footage will be expensive and dangerous. Luca’s eyes meet yours. "We need a plan," he says, waiting.
