Chapter 1: Echoes of a Vanished Trail
You stare at the worn photograph of your protégé, Alex, the edges curled from years in your glove. A terse call from an old contact shakes your world — Alex vanished inside a temple that shouldn't exist, deep in a jungle mapped over a hundred times. The temple's existence contradicts every survey, every satellite scan; it's as if it's cloaked or erased by some inexplicable force. Your heart clenches with the weight of guilt and urgency. This is more than just disappearance — it's a clue that the jungle holds secrets still hidden from the world. Resolute, you grab your battered satchel and map gear. The hunt begins again.
What happens next? Contact old allies for information · Head to the last known location immediately · Search for clues in Alex's belongings
Chapter 2: Ancient Map Fragment
You lean back in the worn leather chair, sifting through a sheaf of emails and voice messages from old allies scattered across distant corners of your past. One contact, Mara — a cryptic cartographer whose knowledge once saved your skin in a ruined city — sends you a photo of an ancient, flour-dusted map fragment. Scrawled notes warn of a forgotten temple hidden in a jungle that shouldn't exist on any modern chart, guarded by traps and secrets. The artifact binds a vague location yet raises questions: can you trust Mara’s motives or the warnings she gives? Your fingers curl around this fragile lead, the hunt sharpening again, but shadows of doubt crawl closer.
What happens next? Travel to meet Mara in person at her remote cabin · Cross-reference the map with satellite imagery for inconsistencies · Reach out to a former rival for intelligence despite risks
